A few simple guidelines that keep every visit calm, safe, and fair — for your dog, for our groomers, and for the pups waiting their turn. Questions about any of these? Just give us a call.
Tiny Tails is a calm, appointment-based studio — we groom one dog at a time wherever possible, so we book by reservation rather than walk-in. To request a time, use our online quote & booking tool or call us, and we'll confirm your spot.
Because we keep our days unhurried, appointments are limited. Booking ahead is the best way to get the day and time that works for you.
Life happens — we just ask for as much notice as you can give. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the time to another pup.
Late cancellations: if we don't receive at least 24 hours' notice, you'll be charged up to 50% of the services booked.
No-shows: if you don't show up for your appointment without letting us know, you'll be charged 100% of the services booked.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may require a deposit to book future appointments.
We hold your appointment for a short grace period. If you're running late, a quick call helps — depending on the rest of the day's schedule, we'll do our best to still see your dog, or we may need to reschedule so no pup gets rushed.
Per NYC guidelines, we cannot groom without current vaccine records on file. You can upload your dog's records when you book, email them ahead, or bring them to your first visit.
This keeps every dog in our studio safe and healthy.
We happily work with puppies, seniors, and small breeds — gentle, patient handling is what we do. Please tell us in advance about any medical conditions, injuries, sensitivities, or behavioral concerns so we can plan the safest, calmest visit.
For the safety of your dog and our team, we reserve the right to stop a groom if a dog is in distress or a procedure can't be done safely. Senior and special-needs pets are always groomed for comfort first, style second.
We use a gentle de-matting shampoo and a moisturizing wrap to work out what we safely can. However, if a dog comes in with more than 20% matting, it will be shaved down — when matting is that severe, brushing or combing it out is painful and inhumane, and your dog's comfort always comes first.
Severe matting may add $20–$50 on top of a groom. Please review and sign our Matted Dog Consent Form before your appointment.
We'll text you when your dog is ready, and we ask for prompt pickup so pups aren't waiting longer than needed.
Late pickup: dogs picked up after closing are charged $20 for the first 30 minutes, then $1 per minute after that.
Prefer your dog stays out of a crate entirely? Our Cageless option lets them wait in our pillow-filled daycare room, priced by time after their groom is finished: up to 1 hr +$15, up to 2 hrs +$25, 3+ hrs +$30.
Quoted prices are estimates — final pricing depends on your dog's size, coat condition, behavior, and any add-ons, and is confirmed once we see your pup. Prices are subject to change upon seeing your dog.
Payment is due at pickup. We accept all major cards and cash.
We love showing off our happy clients! We may take before/after photos and occasionally share them on our website or social media. If you'd prefer we not photograph your dog, just let us know — no problem at all.
Your dog's comfort and your happiness matter to us. If something about a groom isn't right, please reach out within 48 hours and we'll make it right with a complimentary touch-up.
We're always happy to talk it through first.
